#4 Makes no logistical sense. F-22s can very well drop SDBs and are already patrolling there. |

#2 ....Short version: unlikely. Long version: Fecking unlikely. The flying -117s are, as M. Murcek suggests, just there to test sensors and other gear. The F-35s - which we now know have flown combat missions - are stealthier than the -117, faster, more maneuverable, and can shoot back. Mike |

#1 There are still some that fly routinely from Tonopah. What that means is subject to speculation. One possibility is to test the ability of new sensors to detect them. |
