The blasts could be heard throughout the Israeli communities abutting the coastal enclave. “A number of riots are being held at several locations along the Gaza side of the border. As a result, explosions will likely be heard throughout the region,” the Eshkol Regional Council says in a statement to residents. The Eshkol local government also alerts residents to a planned military exercise in the area, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., which will likely see large numbers of army vehicles and aircraft traveling through the region. | |
