Europe
Germany's Most reliable Partners (German Poll). 70% distrust Russia, 78% distrust America
2019-01-19

Can we all admit NATO was a project that's past its time? Why are the Americans still in NATO? Germany doesn't trust them, and other polls say they're Germany's greatest threat. It's long past time for Europe to put on its big boy pants and go its own way. The American deep state is going to start war after war in their quest to completely re-order the Middle East in a quixotic attempt to create liberal democracies there. It's time for an amicable divorce.

#5  Sit on Germany forever. They'll cause more trouble if we don't. Russia is not the problem. Never has been.

Yep. Sadly, once established, bureaucracies never go away. They just find new missions, like NATO in Afghanistan.

Not really surprising to see this nowdays. Germany and the US's geopolitical goals are not aligned now and distrust in normal. I just see this as further validation that keeping US troops in Europe is not needed and Europe can go its own way.

#2  How many of the respondents are East Germans and other former Communists that blame the US for the downfall of their dream?
