| Over 50 Taliban militants killed, wounded after attacking a district in Paktika |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Afghan Military in the Southeast claims that more than 50 Talibs have been killed or maimed after launching a coordinated attack on Khoshamand district. The 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan Military in the Southeast in a statement said the armed forces of 203rd Thunder Corps responded jointly with the other security personnel to a coordinated Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... attack, leaving more than 50 hard boyz dead or maimed. The statement further added that the Afghan forces also confiscated 15 landmines and vehicle were also seized following the attack. According to 203rd Thunder Corps, the dead bodies of at least 18 hard boyz are still left in the area where the clash took place. No further details have been regarding the possible casualties of the Afghan armed forces during the festivities. In the meantime, the 203rd Thunder Corps said at least 11 hard boyz were killed and 6 others were maimed in separate festivities that took place in Sultan Bagh of Andar, Sahibzada of Qarabagh, and Tasang of Deh yak district in Ghazni province. |
