, the jihadist rebels unleashed a flurry of surface-to-surface missiles towards the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions in the Kurdish Mountains (var. Jabal al-Akrad) of northeast Latakia.According to a military source in the Latakia Governorate, the jihadist rebels managed to score several direct hits on the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses after launching most of these missiles from their stronghold of Kabbani.
The source added that a number of military personnel from the Syrian Arab Army and National Defense Forces (NDF) were killed during the jihadist attack.
This latest attack by the jihadist rebels marks the second time in the last 24 hours that they have targeted areas controlled by the Syrian government in the Latakia province.
