| Six security personnel killed, injured in bomb blast, northeast of Diyala |

| Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Six paramilitary personnel were killed and injured in a bomb kaboom, northeast of Diyala, a security source was quoted saying on Saturday. Speaking to AlSumaria News, the source said "a bomb, placed by unknown people, went off in the afternoon as a patrol for al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) was passing in al-Zor region, northeast of Diyala. One personnel was killed, while five others were maimed." The maimed were taken to hospital for treatment, while the victim was transferred to forensic medicine department, the source, who preferred anonymity, added. |
