International Airport as well as the security commandments of Paktia and Zabul provinces. The Ministry of Interior (MoI) informed regarding the new appointments in a statement released on Wednesday. According to the statement released by MoI, Brigadier General Raz Mohammad Mandozai son of Nik Baduddin has been appointed as the new commander of the security commandment of Paktia province. The statement further added that Gen. Mandozai was previously serving as the commander of 808th Police Zone Command. In the meantime, Colonel Mohammad Mustafa Mayar has been appointed as the commander of the security commandment of southern Zabul province. According to the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Mayar was previously serving as the head of the counter-criminal directorate in 303rd Spin Ghar Zone of the Police. The statement by MoI also added that the former security commander of Paktia province Syed Gul Aqa Rouhani has been appointed as the commander of the border police forces in Hamid Karzai International Airport. The Ministry of Interior said the new appointments have been made based on the recommendation of the ministry and approval of the presidential palace. |
