2018-07-06
[Breitbart] Two buildings at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland are under evacuation Thursday amid a hazmat situation prompted by possible broken vials of tuberculosis.

Hospital officials say they believe an unspecified number of individuals were exposed to tuberculosis at the health facility at around 12:20 pm EST. The Baltimore City Fire Department is currently on-scene at 1500 block of Jefferson Street. Caroline Street is presently closed off.

#3  Officials in Baltimore have lifted an evacuation order after clearing people out of two medical research buildings due to tuberculosis contamination.

Kim Hoppe, a spokeswoman with Johns Hopkins Medicine, said Thursday that a small sample of frozen tuberculosis was "inadvertently released" in an internal bridge between two cancer research buildings that don't connect to the hospital.

#2  Broken vials of TB? A curious thing to have in a health facility... unless it is some kind of research hospital.

#1  Isn't that what Ellis Island was about?

Amazing the same people who get upset with evasive species destroying the local ecology, don't get upset with diseases.
