| Police personnel, driver injured in bomb blast, north of Babel |

| Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A Federal Police personnel and his driver were maimed as a kaboom took place, north of Babel province, a security source was quoted saying on Monday. Speaking to AlSumaria News, the source said, "a bomb went off targeting a patrol for Federal Police in al-Owaisat region in Jurf-ul Nasar, leaving a police captain and his driver injured." Security troops, according to the source, who preferred anonymity, "cordoned off the blast scene and transferred the injured to hospital for treatment." |
