More Taliban positions pounded in latest raids after last week’s attack in Farah

The 207th Zafar Corps of the Afghan Military in the West said the latest operations were conducted in the vicinity of Bala Bolok district, jointly by the Afghan and US forces.

The source further added at least thirty Talibs including two of their commanders were killed or maimed during the operations conducted in Piyo Paso area.

According to Zafar Corps, the two Taliban local commanders killed during the operations have been identified as Salim and Salam.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Defense says the security forces also conducted operations in Pas Aab, Ziarat Ganj, North and South of Pancharmani, and Char Kocha.

The ministry of defense put the total casualties of the Taliban forces of Evil at least 33 Taliban dead at least 12 others maimed.

This comes as the Taliban group launched a coordinated attack on Farah city last week but the Afghan forces manage to repel the attack although the Taliban group murderous Moslems managed to briefly intrude into the city.

The Office of the President, ARG Palace said the report regarding the Farah was presented by the security officials during a meeting of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces chaired by President Ghani.

Without disclosing further information regarding the report, the ARG Palace added that the security officials also briefed the meeting regarding the security of Faryab, Baghlan, Jawzjan, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Paktia, Paktika

, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Zabul, Helmnd, Farah, Ghor, Balkh and Badghis provinces.

According to ARG Palace, President Ghani issued necessary instructions to thwart the enemy movements and improve the security of the named provinces.
