Injured Palestinians receive treatment at Egyptian hospitals: Palestine embassy
2018-05-21
It sounds like the maimed are the only ones benefitting from that so-generous "open" border crossing.
[AlAhram] The Paleostinian embassy in Cairo confirmed the continued arrival of Paleostinians maimed in Gazoo by the Israeli occupation forces over the past week to receive treatment in Egyptian hospitals in El-Arish, Ismailia and Cairo.

The embassy said in a statement that the maimed are being transported through the Rafah crossing, where they are received by a medical team led by Deputy Health Minister Arabi Mohammed.

On Monday, Israeli forces used live ammunition against Paleostinian demonstrating in Gazoo against the moving of the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, killing 61 Paleostinians and injuring hundreds.

Since Paleostinians started their Right of Return marches in Gazoo last March, Israel has killed at least 108 and maimed thousands.

According to the Paleostinian embassy, the injured have been receiving treatment at El-Arish General Hospital in Sinai, and some have recently been transferred to Nasser Institute Hospital in Cairo.

Emergency levels at Egyptian hospitals treating injured Paleostinians have been raised to a high level to receive the maimed.

The Paleostinian embassy expressed its appreciation to the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Health Minister Ahmed Emad El-Din for helping save the lives of the maimed in Gazoo.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on unarmed Paleostinian protesters, Egypt has been sending aid and medical convoys to Gazoo through the Rafah crossing border.

On Thursday, the first day of Ramadan, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi ordered the opening of the Rafah border during the entire holy month to "ease burdens on our brothers in Gazoo."
