North Korea reveals it will destroy its nuclear test site
2018-05-13
[MIRROR.CO.UK] North Korea has announced on state media it will dismantle its nuclear test site just weeks ahead of a summit with President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
I guess it did collapse after the bomb went bang.
The rogue nation will start to take the facility apart on May 23, with international media watching.

The country's central news agency said the dismantlement of the nuclear test ground would involve collapsing all of its tunnels with kabooms, blocking its entrances and removing all observation facilities, research buildings and security posts.

Journalists from other countries, including the United States and South Korea, will be invited to cover the event.

The nuclear site that will be dismantled is located in Pukyung, and the area around Pumyeong nuclear test site will also be closed.

#6  #2 most definitely, but also #4.

I think Trump and Pudge kinda sorta bonded during that period when they were insulting each other. It's a guy thing.

For Pudge, this can be a big opportunity. He gets to stay in power, he remains a hero of the people in current NKor mythology and he gets access to more fine cognac and other western goods.

Prediction: there will be a strict inspection regime but it will be masked by security guarantees and lots of happy talk about opening up NKor to the modern world. But we've seen happy talk and economic carrots before, you say. Yes, but never accompanied by threats of nuclear destruction and not from someone who would walk away from a bad deal.

#4  Even if they're just making a virtue out of necessity, I'm hopeful. This sort of thing has never happened before.

#2  I thought they had already blew the shit out of their test site by mistake last test, making it useless.

#1  Carefully storing away the components until the new site is set up?

Still, exciting that they are backing down so far even before negotiations with President Trump’s team have begun.
