| UN provide Libyans with explosive disposal equipment |

| Libyans meet them halfway by providing the explosives The United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) has provided explosive ordnance disposal equipment to Libyan authorities. The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) noted on Twitter that the equipment was provided with support of Austria to the Libyan National Safety Authority to enhance more safety with the explosive remnants of war. Many Libyan areas suffer from mines and war remnants that have claimed many lives due to poor access to safe handling. |
