The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North said the Afghan and US forces carried out a series of operations on ISIS hideouts in Darzab district late last night. The source further added that the operations were conducted with the support of the close air support in the vicinity of Mughol and Nawahi villages. According to Shaheen Corps, at least sixteen ISIS forces of Evil including one of the key commanders identified as Mohammad Yousuf alias Khanjar were killed. More than twenty ISIS forces of Evil including one of their commanders identified as Shabir Ahmad were also maimed during the operations, the Shaeen Corps said. In the meantime, the Shaheen Corps said several ISIS forces of Evil were forced to flee the area and the situation is under the control in Darzab at the moment. |
