Trump announces U.S. military strikes in Syria
2018-04-13
[FoxNews] President Trump on Friday announced that he has approved military strikes in Syria against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The announcement follows a suspected chemical gas attack from the Assad regime on a rebel-held town near the Syrian capital last weekend.

Trump's announcement immediately preceded reports of loud explosions lighting up the sky in Damascus.

Assad's actions, Trump said, "are not the actions of a man," but "are the crimes of a monster instead."

#10  Trump targeted strictly chemical manufacturing facilities at 3 locations before dawn on Saturday morning.

No people were targeted.

#8  Various sites noted Douma is newly liberated from ISIS, leaving behind many widows, spawn, and traumatized hostages. France and the UK don't want their insurgents' dependents returning to Europe. Staging a chemical attack to take care of social problems + draw Trump into conflict with Russia, and nixing any peace progress with Assad. Removing Assad in another regime change destabilizes the region. Testing positive for chemicals doesn't prove who delivered them. Further comments said gas canisters marked nitrous oxide for NGO 'Operation Smile' were delivered to the White Helmets, with same caught staging and filming with corpses....Smile is Nordic Ice Princess Cindy McCain's pet project, and her hubby is pictured smiling with all the key jihadists. A Deep State conspiracy makes more sense to me than trusting Brit intel right now.

#7  I hope we're blasting the shit out of some Iranians. Those mofos have had a black eye coming since 1979. The Russians I'd prefer we give a wide berth...

#5  I wonder what brought the French onboard?

France has been attacked by Islamic radicals far too many times. Turkey, a facilitator of Islamic radicals, is a friend of Russia, who is a friend of Pencil Neck, all who have no problem with chemical weapons being used against innocent civilians.

#3  I wonder what brought the French onboard? If it were just Trump I'd wonder if this were just policy momentum, but the French have their own interests.

#2  We knew when we hired Donald Trump that we were in for interesting times. I’m praying hard that he called this one correctly. I assume this is aimed at much at Iran and North Korea —see what we do when you make The Donald angry? Please stop making him angry! — as it is at President Assad.
