Palestinians say man killed along Gaza border with Israel
2018-04-13
[IsraelTimes] Witnesses say Abdullah al-Shehri was throwing stones at soldiers; IDF insists it is unaware of the incident
Need one actually say, “Don’t bring stones to a gunfight”?
A 28-year-old Paleostinian man was shot and killed by Israeli fire at a Gazoo border protest campsite Thursday, the Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason,-run Paleostinian health ministry said. Witnesses told the News Agency that Dare Not be Named that Abdullah al-Shehri, 28, was throwing stones at soldiers stationed behind the fence with Israel.

However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them...
the IDF insisted that it was unaware of any such incident.

Shehri would be the 34th Paleostinians killed by Israeli fire over the past two weeks, according to Paleostinian tallies. At least 26 were killed during protests.

The Hamas terror group, which rules Gazoo, has called for a mass rally Friday at the border as part of a weeks-long campaign of protests against a decade-old blockade of the territory.
If trends continue, a mere 5,000 will gather at key points along the border. Some will jump up and down while screaming mustache curses, others will sling rocks at the Israelis, still others will set piles of tires on fire or roll them against the fence, all to camouflage a few members of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighting wings who will try to cut through the fence for the mass breakout... or at least to set up bombs intended to blow up Israelis later. How many will discover to their sorrow that they had a date with an Israeli sniper’s bullet remains to be seen.

2 injured Gaza protesters said to lose legs after access to West Bank denied

[IsraelTimes] Israel says the men were denied permission to transfer to Ramallah hospital because their injuries resulted from participation in violent demonstrations.

Leftwing NGOs Adalah and Al Mezan said Yusef Karnaz, 20, and Mohammad al-Ajouri, 17, were both shot and maimed when tens of thousands of Gazooks converged near the border with Israel on March 30 for the first in a series of planned protests that led to bloody confrontations.

#1  If trends continue, a mere 5,000 will gather

My apologies — I misremembered the progression. It was not 20,000 the first Friday followed by 10,000 last Friday. The actual numbers were 30,000 the first Friday and 20,000 last Friday, so somewhere between 10,000 (down by 10,000) and 13,300 (down by a third) today... or not.
