| #1 Mistake in the cited article: The analysis doesn’t consider how much workers pay in Social Security and Medicare taxes, which are taken out of all paychecks This clearly implies everyone's paycheck is affected the same way by these 2 taxes. But this is not so, the taxes are capped and the bigger paychecks pay a smaller fraction. |
