Jihadi militants to leave Harasta starting tomorrow |
2018-03-20 |
[ALMASDARNEWS] The first batch of ultraconservative turbans in al-Qaeda-controlled Harasta suburb is expected to leave to Syria’s north by tomorrow, multiple sources reported. Those turbans belong to Haraket Ahrar al-Sham ...a Syria jihadi group made up of Islamists and salafists, not that there's that much difference, formed into a brigade. They make up the main element of the Islamic Front but they don't profess adoration of al-Qaeda and they've been fighting (mainly for survival) against the Islamic State. Their leadership was wiped out at a single blow by a suicide kaboom at a crowded basement meeting in September, 2014... which is a coalition of several Islamist and Salafist groups that merged into one single movement. According to reports, a deal has been reached between Ahrar al-Sham leadership in Idlib and the Russian side to allow Harasta rebels a safe access to the jihadi-controlled northern province. Tens of thousands of civilians continue to exit the rebel-held towns of East Ghouta as the government troops gain more ground the Death Eater enclave. |
