Wazoo on Tuesday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.Second Lieutenant Abdul Moeed and Sepoy Basharat, both 21, were martyred in the incident, the Pakistain Army's media wing said.
Lt Moeed, a resident of Burewala, Vehari, had recently passed out from the Pakistain Military Academy. Sepoy Basharat, a resident of Danyor village, Gilgit, had been serving in the military for three years, the ISPR statement read.
"Freedom is not free, it costs sons of the soil. Freedom that we enjoy today is owed to so many such brave hearts. Salute to our deaders," Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Jawed Bajwa was quoted as saying in a tweet by ISPR.
