Zadrans deprived of power only because of Haqqani network leader: Hekmatyar
2017-12-11
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The leader of Hezb-e-Islami Gulbuddin has said the Zadran tribe has been deprived of power only because the leader of the notorious Haqqani terrorist network hails from the same tribe.

Speaking during a gathering in southeastern Khost province
... across the border from Miranshah, within commuting distance of Haqqani hangouts such as Datta Khel and probably within sight of Mordor. Khost is populated by six different tribes of Pashtuns, the largest probably being the Khostwal, from which it takes its name...
among his supporters, Hekmatyar said the people of Zadran tribe are paying the ultimate price because the leader of Haqqani network Jalaluddin Haqqani
...founder and still titular head of the Haqqani Network. Jalaluddin is old and tough and very crafty, one of the few Pashtun warlords who was worth spit...
has fought against the US forces.

However,
a hangover is the wrath of grapes...
he harshly criticized the monopolist approach by certain individuals and circles, saying different islands of power exist across the country which must be eliminated immediately.

According to Hekmatyar, the only legitimate way to reach to power is through elections as he called on other political parties to ascertain their role in the governance through elections.

In the meantime, Hekmatyar said he is doubtful regarding the willingness of the other political parties to participate in the elections, claiming that they fear from process.

He also went on to claim that certain circles are attempting to prevent the elections but did not elaborate further in this regard.

The leader of Hezb-e-Islami also demanded no further changes should into the electoral bodies and the government must ensure a fair and transparent election.
