| ISIS crosses the Euphrates to attack Syrian forces, massacre follows |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] Capitalizing on a sandstorm that swept throughout Syria’s Deir Ezzor province yesterday, ISIS Lions of Islam launched a powerful assault against pro-government forces on the western bank of the Euphrates River. Whilst most of the attacks came from the west, ISIS also launched an assault across the Euphrates from the east in what was an obvious attempt to surprise pro-government forces. The main pro-government formation to encounter the ISIS cross-river assault was the Paleostinian Liwa al-Quds paramilitary group. Fighters from the pro-government militia report that one of their positions near the Euphrates shoreline was the focus point of the ISIS assault. In the end, Liwa al-Quds not only completely repelled the ISIS surprise attack, but also succeeded in killing dozens of Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... fighters as well as capturing several more. |
