Insecurity in Afghanistan has internal roots, claims Pakistan’s UN envoy |
2017-09-27 |
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The ambassador of Pakistain to the United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone... Maleeha Lodhi has claimed that the ongoing instability in Afghanistan has internal links, a claim which comes in contrast to the US and Afghan officials statement regarding the sanctuaries being used by the terrorist groups to stage attacks in Afghanistan. Speaking to a UN Security Council Debate, Lodhi claimed that the sources of insecurity in Afghanistan lie within Afghanistan. She claimed that the twenty terrorist groups are operating in Afghanistan and said "The Afghan government would be better advised to focus more seriously on its persisting challenges and embark on a course correction." The Afghan officials are saying that the leadership councils and sanctuaries of the two groups have remained intact despite Pakistain launched major offensives against the terror groups. The US President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... also strongly criticized Pakistain regarding the terror sanctuaries as he was announcing the new US strategy for South Asia. |
