The President of the United States calls for NFL fans to boycott games

After doubling down Saturday on national anthem comments that reverberated around the NFL, President Donald Trump is now calling for a boycott from fans during Sunday's Week 3 slate.

Trump made the comments early Sunday on Twitter:

Numerous players and owners spoke out against Trump's comments on Saturday and his latest remarks aren't going to sit well with league officials.

Various reports have indicated that hundreds of players are planning to make a statement prior to kickoff in Sunday's games as a reaction to Trump's bold statements.

#22  When a friend of mine at the American Legion in Ohio found out the Pittsburg Steelers stayed in their locker room during the Banner being played in Chicago's Soldier Field, he took off his Steelers jersey he wore for the game and tossed it in the trash. Guess what, NFL, you all lose.

They can go screw themselves, demonstrating against a country and an economic system that allows them to make millions playing children's games.

You don't see the various soccer teams around the world demonstrating against national anthems.

#7  Major boycott in the works. The silent majority will do what they do best, keep quiet and avoid controversy which means they will stay away. Yes, a vocal few but best course of action is to stay out of it. This will spread to all sports especially those sports that cater to black players. Those not American go elsewhere. Problem is they will take their hatred with them and even the Africans see them as problem people.

One can only hope. These millionaire idiots, employed by billionaires who - frankly - aren't much smarter, have painted themselves into a corner. Had the League stood up firmly on this at the beginning, there wouldn't be a problem. If they do so now, then cries of 'racism' and 'censorship' will echo through the land.
