| Abha-A Saudi soldier has died from his injuries after a landmine exploded near his patrol unit near the border region of Asir province. Major General Mansour al-Turki, the security spokesman at the Interior Ministry, said the incident took place at 7 am local time on Sunday during a routine operation of a border patrol unit at the Maseel border post in Asir, according to SPA. “A landmine exploded, resulting in the death of soldier Ati bin Mardad al-Jadaani,” Turki said. |
