| #7 Naftali Bennett's Wikipedia page is here. An interesting man who heads the party I would be voting for, were I Israeli, his path is similar to Bibi Netanyahu's a generation earlier, and therefore he became a serial tech entrepreneur rather than a highly educated business consultant. I love his image of his soldier comrade choosing to live with shrapnel in his bottom because the operation to remove it would cripple him -- an evocative formulation of not letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. He has apparently been saying things like this for a while, which has not been a barrier to serving in Prime Minister Netanyahu's cabinet in various capacities. |
