| Republican Obamacare replacement bill passes House | |

The vote, which President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... was planning to tout as a big victory, sends the Republican-sponsored bill to gut Obamacare ... aka the Affordable Care Act, an ineptly designed and worse executed piece of legislation designed to bring 17 percent of the U.S. economy under the direct control of the government. The previous iteration, known as Hillarycare, was laughed out of Washington. This stinker was passed on a party-line vote without being read... to the Senate for consideration. But winning approval for the bill could be even more difficult in the Senate than it has been in the House, where Republican leaders struggled for nearly two months to wrangle enough votes in their caucus to secure its passage. The bill passed by a vote of 217 to 213, which was one more "yes" vote that was needed for passage. All 193 Democrats voting opposed the bill. They were joined by 20 Republicans voting "no." | |

| #7 Trump is cutting something like $1 Trillion in O-care taxes, mandates, subsidies and fees. If that is only the taxes, one has to wonder how much O-Care is really costing folks. I saw a doc on TV who said he came up with a three page health care bill that would cost people far less. He also said that O-Care was crafted by the insurance industry for the insurance industry. |

| #4 We'll see how this all shakes out. We'll see if premiums decrease or not and whether care improves or not. Color me skeptical. It's nice to hear the Democrats squeal though. |

| #1 The bill faces a potentially harder road to winning passage in the Senate...The bill passed by a vote of 217 to 213 [in the House], which was one more "yes" vote than was needed for passage. All 193 Democrats voting opposed the bill. They were joined by 20 Republicans voting "no." It can't get much harder in the Senate than the House--unless it is quashed in the Senate. |
