It reported on its Telegram channel that the kaboom, that took place near the Lion of Islam den that law enforcement and the army were raiding, had killed "tens of people." However, a hangover is the wrath of grapes... the short message did not call it a suicide kaboom or claim any responsibility. Tasneem Khalil, a Sweden-based journalist specialising in terrorism, provided this rough translation of the original Arabic broadcast: "A security official/source to Amaq: Tens of dead and injured among Bangladeshi troops following the kaboom of an bomb at a gathering of troops/forces near a checkpoint in Sylhet, northeast of Bangladesh."
