Morgue holding Kim Jong Nam's corpse reports break-in
2017-02-22
Who, oh who, could it be?
Malaysian police said Wednesday that someone tried to break into the morgue where the corpse of Kim Jong Nam is being kept, so they have ramped up security to discourage any other body snatchers.

"We knew there were attempts by someone to break into the hospital mortuary. We had to take precautions. We will not allow anyone to tamper with the mortuary," Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar told the Malay Mail on Wednesday.

A brigade of heavily armed special forces soldiers has been deployed to the hospital to keep Jong Nam's body safe, according to the newspaper.

Bakar said police had identified the would-be burglars, but said there was "no need" to reveal who they are.

Kim Jong Nam ‐ the estranged half-brother of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un ‐ has been kept at the hospital mortuary while doctors try to determine his exact cause of death.

So far, two separate examinations have failed to reveal what killed him, although police believe he was felled by some type of poison.

Additional post-mortem tests were under way.

#1  I read that cemeteries on the Chinese side of the NK border were having similar difficulties. (There are so many bad taste jokes here, you don't know where to start.)
