Former Air Force Secretary: Intensifying ISIS War Would Kill More Innocents
2017-01-25
There is no room under the current configuration for more strikes against the Islamic State group without endangering civilians, a top Air Force official who just stepped down says, despite repeated claims from President Donald Trump he will ramp up the air war, and a spike since his inauguration of strikes in Iraq and Syria.
Perhaps this is why, Ms. James, you're no longer the Air Force Secretary.
"We're not failing to hit targets when appropriate targets make themselves known," Deborah James, who served as Air Force secretary until Friday, told U.S. News in an interview days before stepping down. "What we have been very careful about is making sure we know what we're hitting, and taking care to hit what we intend to hit."

"There are not a whole series of targets we have simply not hit. That's not the case," James harfed says.

#5  If you intensify the war against ISIS, you kill more innocents.

If you leave ISIS alone, they will kill more innocents.

That would seem to indicate that its not really the killing of innocents which they are worried about - its the killing of ISIS soldiers.

If you leave ISIS alone, they will kill more innocents.

And that is the reality of it. Suck on that Popsicle for a while.
