#29 How about a nifty little 250+ page manual on riot control for your homework, HERE. |

#28 re #20 That's okay JFM I'm from Massachusetts, that's worse. |

#27 Failure to show ends up with an outstanding bench warrant applicable to all 50 states. Nothing like giving the 'man' the means to screw with you anytime, anyplace. |

#26 Barbara. I am not German, I am French. None of us are perfect. |

#25 Thanks, #21 Frank - I did know EC's German, just wasn't sure about JFM (haven't "seen" him in a while). |

#24 Thanks, #20 JFM - that's what I thought. That's the thing I love about Rantburg - we have real experts living around the world, so we can learn what's really going on. |

#23 Send them to Putin. |

#22 per CBS, almost all of these thugs will be allowed out without paying bail on condition that they report for trial So if they don't show up for trial that's an additional charge. Lock 'em up. |

#19 Of course, even if they bother to show up for trial, get convicted and sentenced (all unlikely), if a Democrat takes over in 2020, his or her first act will be to commute their sentences. And award them the Presidential Medal of Freedom for their "heroic" acts. And how the heck do you get released on your own recognizance on a FELONY charge? |

#18 'Brings to mind Voltaire's line from Candide: "Dans ce pay-ci, il est bon de tuer de temps en temps un amiral pour encourager les autres." Every city needs to round up a gaggle of scum, and put them through a bit of "convict boot camp". Or, as Ronnie Johns (playing "Chopper Reed") would say, "Harden the f#&K up" http://youtu.be/unkIVvjZc9Y" |

#17 As to "allowed out without paying bail" it will be tricky getting a conviction from a hypothetical DC jury, but these are frequent flyers all, and next time around, in a "real" state, they have skipped bail on Felony Riot charges, re-offended, and bad things start to happen. |

#16 This is hysterical. They get to protest Trump once and if they are lucky they might get to protest President Pence when they get out. |

#15 10 years in jug plus a $25K fine? Let's hope they get it, and not set free by some bleeding-heart liberal judge. |

#13 #9 JFM: You're in France, right? (Or maybe Germany, I forget - sorry.) It's unspeakably pathetic that our Rantburgers from foreign countries know MORE about U.S. history than native-born and "educated" so-called Americans, particularly those of the Left. |

#12 Do paid agitators get paid for prison time? Who pays their lawyer fees? Are they gonna squeal? Do they still believe? |

#10 Well, at least they won't miss work Isn't that the Party who had a part of the country secede because it didn't like the elected President Two strong contenders, IMO, for snark of the day. |

#9 Isn't that the Party who had a part of the country secede because it didn't like the elected President and doubled up by attacking Fort Sumter? |

#4 Law enforcement's payback against the gangster regime after 8 years of hell is gonna be sweet. They are on notice that it is now "Game on." |

#3 I will settle for that. I was rooting for the gallows, but 10 years in the clink with a heavy fine will work. |
