Former CIA chief: We can't defeat terrorism by playing defense
2016-12-22
[The Hill] Terrorist attacks like the one in Berlin will continue to happen if the U.S. plays defense, former CIA Director James Woolsey said Tuesday.

“This is all going to happen again and again and again as long as we keep playing defense,” Woolsey told “Fox and Friends.”

Woolsey, who is currently serving as an adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, compared the U.S. fighting terrorism to playing in a hockey game.

“It’s as if we’re in a big, really important hockey game and we deploy our entire team as goalies. We’re going to lose,” he said. “We can try to catch people after the fact. We can try by vetting extreme people out. But if we keep going this way, we’re going to continue to have terrorist attacks of major proportion.”

#5  The fall out of the regime change will be bloody as Trump and his team clean house in Langley and The Pentagon.

This purge will be long overdue. George W. should have done the same thing but didn't. So things have festered for a long time.

#4  Yeah, if we can't get out of the penalty box to center ice, we're pucked.
