| #1 Sadly, virtually 100% of those who are either directly publicly funded or are rent-seekers in industries that exist primarily due to government regulation don't care and never will. They are not voting for someone for president who will do the VERY few things government must do and do them well. They are voting for a mercenary who will defend their magic checks without regard to whether or not that will destroy America eventually. In essence, they have come to value their rice bowl more than the businesses, liberties, and lives of their private sector neighbors. I've been saying here for two years that you cannot scandal Hillary Clinton enough that a public employee or a welfare recipient or a lawyer who works at a lobbying firm in Alexandria or an OSHA consultant or a mid-level executive at Goldman Sachs or an NPR addict will vote for someone else. Hillary Clinton could set fire to ten third graders on national TV every morning from now until the election and such as those would still vote for her. |
