#3  Dont discount Trumps lies and deceitful comments against the favorite son candidate, Cruz. Trump never apolgised, and never made good - so those voters are probably going 3rd party, or else just staying away. There are long political memories in Texas, just ask George HW Bush about Ross Perot.

#2  I hope so, RJ, but there is Dallas, Houston, and - of course - Austin, all with substantial voters on the "gimmee" end of the spectrum.

#1  I find it really hard to imagine Texas is a swing state. I suspect a landslide for Trump in Texas.
