Member of dispute resolution council shot dead |

[DAWN] CHARSADDA: Unknown assailants on Tuesday rubbed out a member of the Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) and injured his two associates in the limits of Turnab cop shoppe here. Local residents said that DRC member Abdul Ali Khan along with his two associates, Fawad Ali and Mohammad Nawaz, was going to his village in Turnab when unknown assailants opened fire on them from nearby fields. As a result Abdul Ali was killed on the spot while the other two were maimed who were taken to hospital. Police had not registered FIR till filing of the report. DRC chairman Prof Mohammad Shafiq condemned the killing, saying the dear departed had played vital role in resolution of various disputes. He demanded immediate arrest of the assailants. |
