ISIS executes 4 linked to Mosul Top Cop

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – Iraqi media outlets on Monday stated that ISIS has executed the four brothers of Nineveh Police Chief Colonel Mohsen Ali al-Jabouri and detonated 14 houses belonging to the members of the security forces, south of Mosul.

According to the media outlets, “ISIS executed four brothers of Nineveh Police Chief, Colonel Mohsen Ali al-Jabouri, after capturing them in al-Alil area, south of Mosul.”

“ISIS executed them in public by firing squad for only being the brothers of Col. Jabouri, who fights the group,” the outlets added.

Meanwhile, according to the National Iraqi News Agency local residents said, “At dawn today, the ISIS militants also blew up 14 houses in the areas of al-Jawsak and al-Dandan, south of Mosul, after looting their contents.”

“ISIS blew up the houses because they belong to members of the security forces,” the residents explained. “The detonation caused great damage to the nearby civilian houses,” they added.

ISIS digs in in Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – Iraqi media outlets revealed on Monday that ISIS dug trenches inside the city of Mosul in anticipation of the imminent liberation battles.

According to Iraqi media outlets, a military source said, “ISIS finished digging trenches between the areas of al-Shalalat and al-Nourat.”

From his side, Geological Expert, Dr. Raouf al-Zahawi said, “The soil of Mosul is rocky and filled with groundwater, and this will allow ISIS to only dig for a meter and a half and then the trenches will be filled with water,” adding that, “The trenches will be useless and will only increase the sabotage of infrastructure.”

Noteworthy, the Iraqi army forces backed by the US-led coalition are now preparing for an ultimate assault in October, in order to oust ISIS out of Mosul, while ISIS called on residents of the city to stay inside their homes starting next month and abide by a comprehensive curfew.

2 ISIS Bad Guys have a Very Bad Day in Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – Iraqi media outlets reported on Monday that two ISIS militants were killed in the city of Mosul by a veiled woman, and indicated that the incident is the third of its kind this month.

According to al-Sumaria “A veiled woman carrying a pistol killed two fighters of the Islamic State (ISIS), in the early hours of the morning, near a checkpoint in the vicinity of Numaniya neighborhood in the city of Mosul.”

“The incident is the third of its kind in the city of Mosul this month. This phenomenon raised ISIS concerns during the past weeks,” Sumaria added.

ISIS warned its members from the veiled woman who killed two of their fighters, last week, in the occupied Salahuddin Province. The attacks took place in al-Sharqat, which has been under ISIS control since the extremists overran the region in June 2014.

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – The photos of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi were placed on donkeys in the city of Mosul, while ISIS militants pursue the donkeys to kill them, al-Sumaria News reported Tuesday.

The news website stated, “Unidentified persons put the photos of the ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on donkeys in central Mosul, and this pushed the ISIS members to pursue the donkeys to kill them.”

“ISIS mobilized its fighters in the city of Mosul, and raided the house in order to search for the people who hung Baghdadi’s pictures on the donkeys,” Sumaria added.

It is worth to mention that the city of Mosul has been under the ISIS control since 10 June 2014; and since then it suffers from major security and humanitarian crisis due to ISIS extreme ideology on all aspects of life in the city. Also, the international coalition air forces continues to strike ISIS sites and headquarters in the province, killing and wounding a number of militants.

Money disappears from Hawija

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – Iraqi media outlets announced on Monday, that eight people working in the so-called Diwan al-Zakat (Zakat Bureau) of the Islamic State in Hawija district, southwest of Kirkuk, disappeared with 600 million dinars in mysterious circumstances.

According to alsumaria.tv, “Eight workers in ISIS Diwan al-Zakat in Hawija, including the currency exchange official, disappeared in mysterious circumstances yesterday.”

“600 million dinars also disappeared from the fund of Diwan al-Zakat with the workers,” Sumaria explained. “The ISIS militants waged raids on the homes of the workers but failed to find them, which raised suspicions that the disappeared persons fled with the money out of Hawija,” Sumaria added.

Noteworthy, the areas southwest of Kirkuk have been under the control of ISIS since June 2014, including the areas of Hawija, Zab, Riyad, al-Abbasi and al-Rashad.
