Donald Trump will speak at African-American church in Detroit

next weekend, his campaign announced Monday.

Pastor Mark Burns, a Trump supporter, said in a Trump blurb that he would be "speaking at the only African American owned and operated national Christian television network, The Impact Network," on Saturday morning in Detroit. He’ll be interviewed by Wayne Jackson at Great Faith Ministries.

Burns said in the release that Trump would be answering questions relevant to African Americans, like "unemployment, making our streets safe and creating better opportunities for all," and then he’ll deliver a speech on policies that "will impact minorities and the disenfranchised in our country."

#10 JohnQC, I believe W tried to engage with the black community through the churches rather than the liberal controlled methods. It didn't help him when Katrina hit but still he did make the effort.

Trump has a good spiel with facts to back it on how the Democrats have let the black community down for decades. He doesn't have to bull$hit at all so I'm not sure how a liberal plant could derail much except the 'attack the messenger' type stuff. Even then the message will sink through to a lot of folks, especially if he adds "attacking the messenger and calling Republicans racist" to avoid anyone paying close attention to the democrat record as part of his speach.

However, closed primaries are a necessary thing. One doesn't let your opposition define your game plan, unless one is innocent, insane, or idiotic.

Trump does 'Corporate Jujutsu' every day. Would be interesting to see how the opposition's actions could be utilized.

#2 It wouldn't matter what Trump said, the left-wing media would play "pile on" even if he were reciting the Lord's prayer. The MSM should be careful, they are liable to get "tagged" with one of their favorite PC criticisms, "bullying (gasp)."
