Friday. Al Arabiya news channel’s correspondent said Saudi Arabia's army thwarted an attack on positions in Jazan.

He added that skirmishes has erupted, and that Saudi forces repelled the attack by Houthi militias on Al Khubah and Tawal in Jazan.

Days ago, the Saudi Interior Ministry said that one Saudi soldier was killed and three others were maimed when a landmine went kaboom! on the border with Yemen.

The blast hit a border patrol in the southwestern province of Jazan, the ministry said in a statement.
