| Roadside bomb injures village official |

| [Bangkok Post] An assistant village leader was wounded slightly by a bomb blast in Pattani province on Thursday morning. A roadside bomb went off as a village security team led by Winij Ratwichian, assistant chief of Ban Mae Kang villlage in Khok Pho district, was traveling in two trucks along a village road. Mr Winij suffered from chest pains, but was later declared safe. One of the patrol vehicles was damaged. |
