[AlAhram] FBI Director James Comey says fewer Americans are traveling to fight alongside the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... group. He says the group's influence in the United States appears to be on the decline.
He said there's "no doubt" that something has happened to diminish the attractiveness of the Islamic State group to Americans. Comey said the FBI has "north of 1,000" cases in which agents are trying to evaluate a subject's level of radicalization and potential for violence. | |
