Officials said the purchase would cost $8.6 million, even as Republican politicians pressed for Iran to be excluded from any use of the US dollar or financial system. |

| #2 Don't believe we even use much Deuterium oxide in stuff other for medical radiology or lab process here in the states. The Canadian CANDU nuke power systems uses a form of it, and they produce their own, but would the Persian product even work for that system without modification? India uses the same form of Deuterium that Iran makes, but they make their own, and quite well I might add. What are we going to do with this stuff other than launder money? Of course the Sierra Club will remain silent. |
