Ruritanian jets pound Shaboob base in southern Somalia
2016-03-21
Ruritanian Unidentified fighters jets struck a training camp for Al shabaab in southern Somalia, the latest in series of aerial bombardment in the region since El Adde attack in January 15, 2016. The warplanes have bombed Sindigow village, an Al shabaab controlled rural area located between Qoqani and Afmadow towns in Lower Jubba region, causing unknown casualties.

Jubbaland state army commanders in the region, told Radio Shabelle that they are figuring out the casualty numbers on Al shabaab militants as a result of the airstrike on Sindigow village.

Over the past few month, the Al Qaeda-linked Al shabaab fighters have been carrying out attacks against Jubbaland and Kenyan army bases in southern Somalia.

#1  Said it before: In pulp action fiction of the Thirties, unidentified forces--ships and planes--kept showing up.
We're living in a version of the Thirties action world. At least it's not boring.
