| Army foils Boko Haram incursion into Chibok |

Spokesman of the military's Operation Zama Lafiya Dole Col. Mustapha Anka confirmed to Daily Trust that a suicide bomber came rushing to a military check point in Chibok but he was "brought down" by the soldiers on guard. In the process, the commanding officer at the location and another solder were maimed, he said. More than 200 girls were kidnapped from their school's dormitory by member of Boko haram.
