| 1 dead, 4 wounded in bomb attack near Kirkuk |

| (IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk announced, that a woman was killed and her four children were wounded in a bomb blast while trying to escape from one of the ISIS-controlled areas south of the province. The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “Today, an explosive device that was planted by ISIS elements in the district of Daquq (40 km south of Kirkuk) exploded, killing a woman and wounding her four children when they were trying to escape from one of the areas under the control of ISIS.” The source, who requested anonymity, added, “ISIS resorted to planting improvised explosive devices in the areas under its control in order to obstruct the progress of the security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi.” |
