| NDS detains Taliban shadow district governor in Nangahrar |

| The National Directorate of Security (NDS) Afghanistan’s intelligence agency has detained a shadow district governor of Taliban group in eastern Nangarhar province. A statement released by the agency on Saturday states that Ajmal S/O Shamshir Taliban appointed governor for Koz Kunar District was arrested during a special raid. The statement adds that Ajmal is an original resident of Shagay village of Koz Kunar District but he was currently residing in Board area of Peshawar city. NDS press release further states that three more militants, one of them member of Daesh, were arrested during separate raids from the jurisdiction of Nangarhar province. Qari Aimal S/O Abdul Malaki, Qudratullah S/O Mullah Jan residents of Nangarhar province and Habib Rahman S/O Khyal Rahman resident of Orakzay agency of Pakistan are identified the three other detained militants who were busy in terrorist activities in Nangarhar province. 13 Kalashinkovs, 28 pistols, 9 magnetic bombs and other terrorist materials were recovered from the possession of the terrorists. NDS statements usually do not contain exact date of the achievements but they come after recent activities. |
