How AK-47s Get to Paris
2015-11-15
The Daily Beast explains how, in a country where it's almost impossible to buy a firearm legally, the perps got their guns. Recommended.

Remember: Champ, Bloomberg and the assorted prog-tards want this for us.

#14  @4: Say what you want Tito kept Yugoslavia together in one piece. He also gave the Germans ulcers for 4 years.

#13  @11: Germans made good use of excellent Czech/Skoda Works tanks during WW II. Czech weaponry historically famous for craftsmanship.

#12  And a front end loader is a bulldozer.

#11  I had read somewhere, don't know if it is accurate, but when the Soviet Union needed reliable weapons, they made sure they were made in Czechoslovakia.

When it comes to the media, anything with a wood stock is an AK-47. Anything black is an AR-15 assault shotgun. Anything larger than a Suburban is a tank.

#10  "Surprised they were not drop-shipped from South Chicago"

Naaahhh, #1 BU - Chicago can't spare any. They need all their weapons for killing their own neighbors.

#8  Eastern Euros including Ukrainian and Russian organized crime engage in a lot of smuggling including excise goods, as well as firearms.

Also, it should be noted that AKs privately go for between $450 to $700, roughly the same as in Europe.

And AKs are very easy to modify to hide their origin.

#7   AK's can be traced back to Mother Russia, no?

No. The Balkan states are quite capable of making their own small-arms and light artillery weapons.

#6  AK's can be traced back to Mother Russia, no? Somebody is subsidizing their Pirozhki with rubles thereby made, I'm a guessin'.

#4  Another Russian contribution to the world

Not this time. Tito was his own special blend of mad-genius communism.

#3  Sounds like they're singling out the evil east Europeans cause of reasons not being the guns, may be political. AK's are made and sold everywhere. How many millions(?) are sold to governments in the Mideast? Some of these govmints are muslim and not the friend of France or the west. Then we have ISIS being the du jour fall guy since al Qaeda is harder to spell.
