The General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces sent warnings to Labraq and Tobruk airport authorities of the possibility of fighters belonging to the Syrian Jabhat al-Nusra militant organization attempting to enter Libya.

Alwasat was able to obtain a photocopy from a letter dated October 18 from General Command to the airports in Libya's eastern region. The letter indicated that the fighters would use the green Libyan passport (non electronic) during the next 48 hours and asked staff at both airports to be cautious. |
