6 people killed or wounded in mortar shell fall south of Baghdad

[IraqiNews.com] A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Monday, that six people from one family have been either killed or maimed in the fall of mortar shell south of Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "two mortar shells landed this morning on a farm in Arab Jabour village in al-Darwa area, south of Baghdad, killing at least one woman and injuring five others," noting that "all of them from one family."

The source, who asked anonymity, added: "Ambulances rushed to the scene and transported the maimed to a nearby hospital to receive treatment and the body of the dead to the forensic medicine department."
