, the Chief Executive of the National Unity Government (NUG), on Sunday said that Afghanistan's enemies have done everything in their power to bring down the government.

's decision to delay troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Abdullah acknowledged the NUG was facing some issues especially with regards to the security situation, but praised the security forces for their hard work.

He said that the Taliban has prepared for a few years to fight government forces after foreign troops withdrew from combat at the end of last year.

He stated that the Kunduz crisis is a lesson to government and that such incidents must be prevented from happening again in future. He said that there is no doubt that there were imported muscle in Kunduz but government is waiting for the results of investigations before commenting.

He called on the nation to unite against insurgency and to help work towards a better future.
