The police had seized 2,035kg kaboom along with detonators and 'primacord' used for making IEDs and arrested the accused before charging him under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
The state prosecutor said the accused was caught red-handed and that he couldn't prove that the seized items did not belong to him.
Also, the court convicted a man of possessing literature and videos of banned outfits and sentenced him to one-year rigorous imprisonment along with Rs50,000 fine.
