over the rape of his 15-year-old daughter.
The girl, who is reportedly under medical care, is also pregnant as a result of the rape, said officials.
Jawzjan police criminal offenses department director Abdul Hadi confirmed the report and said the father was in police custody.
Hadi said the father had apparently threatened to kill his daughter if she spoke out about the incident.
